Revlon Indigo Night

Hi Guys!

Today I have Revlon Indigo Night which is from the new Revlon Colorstay line. The pigmentation and opacity is great! Definitely worthy of a one-coater. I was a little uncareful when applying the polish though, so I did two coats. It's a gorgeous royal blue. Reminds me of Superman or Wonder Woman! Then, for some added glitz, I put one coat of China Glaze Techno on my ring fingers for an accent nail and it's all topped off with one coat of Seche Vite.

Hope you guys enjoyed it!

Rose Teacups!

Hi Guys!

I'm really excited about this manicure. It came out so delicate and pretty. It reminds me of elegant teacups.

This is 3 coats Essie Marshmallow as the base. The colors of the roses are Revlon Love That Red, Revlon Cupid, and Sinful Colors Snow Me White. The leaf color is China Glaze Four Leaf Clover and China Glaze Liquid Leather for the black stripe through the center. Then, I just topped the whole thing off with a coat of Seche Vite.

I've only done freehand nail art maybe a couple times, if that, so of course this isn't perfect, but I'm pretty happy with the way it came out.

I hope you guys liked it!

China Glaze Sweet Hook

Hi Guys! I got really sick over the weekend which lasted up until Tuesday and haven't had time to change my manicure until last night. My rainbow sherbet fingers were chipping and it was driving me crazy!

So, here is three coats of China Glaze Sweet Hook with one coat of China Glaze Techno as an accent on my ring finger. Both are from China Glaze's new Electropop collection. Sweet Hook is a very light pastel purple. It's so pretty! The formula was tricky for me, though. It was kind of thick to start with and as time passed with having my bottle open, the polish started to thicken around the neck of the bottle. I could have stopped at two coats, but I felt a third coat was needed just to even it out due to the thick formula. Techno is this really gorgeous holographic glitter top coat with tiny glitter specks and larger hexagonal glitter pieces.

I think Sweet Hook may be a little lighter in person than what's showing in my pictures.

Are you guys digging the Electropop collection?

Rainbow Sherbet Nails

Hi Everyone! This is a patchwork mani I did using three colors. I got the idea from Chloe's Nails. For a tutorial on how to do patchwork mani's, check out http://chloesnails.blogspot.com/ . She has a full tutorial on there and it's amazing! I messed up the placement of the purple on my ring finger, and by the time I realized it, it was too late, so oh well!

The colors I used are Essie Splash of Grenadine for the pinky-purple color, Tart Deco for the peachy orange, and Navigate Her for the pistachio green. I showed my boyfriend and he really liked it! He said it looked for very 80's, but in a good way. I agree, but the main theme it reminded me of was candy or popsicles and then right as I was about to make this post...BAM! Rainbow Sherbet! That's it!! I really love the way this came out and I hope you guys really enjoy it too.

Haul!

Hi guys!

So, as I mentioned in my earlier post I bought several nail polishes recently. I went to Ulta and Sally's over the weekend, and then went to Walgreens today and bought way too many polishes. But the rush man, the rush... hahaha. And as I mentioned previously, I bought Revlon Whimsical online and then I found it in store at Ulta and felt the need to buy it again. Go figure.

Kinetic Candy, Lighthouse, Sweet Hook, Techno

Splash of Grenadine, Tart Deco, Navigate Her, Marshmallow

Revlon Whimsical (twice)

Kinetic Candy, Techno, and Sweet Hook are from China Glaze's new Electropop collection and Navigate Her is from Essie's new Navigate Her collection. I apologize the photo quality isn't that great, especially on the China Glaze colors. So far, I have only worn Kinetic Candy and Whimiscal, but I'm going to do a mani tonight using 2 or possibly 3 of the other polishes. I will be sure to post the mani soon!

Revlon Whimsical

Hi everyone!

Last week, before I put in my order for Revlon Whimsical on Ulta's website, I called my local stores to find out if they had it in stock, just in case. Well, they both said they were sold out, so I went ahead and put in the order online. On Saturday, I was at Ulta to pick up some other things and I decided to check out the Revlon polishes to see if Whimsical would magically be there. Curiosity just got to me, I guess. Well, low and behold, it was there! One single bottle. Now, I don't usually buy a polish twice, unless I were to use one of them up, but something came over me and I felt like I needed to buy it. I don't know if it was because I didn't want to wait until Wednesday when my online order would arrive, or if it was because a twinge of anger ran through me since they said they were sold out, or maybe it was just a hoarding impulse since this polish was so hard to find, but I bought it.

I've been obsessed with this color ever since I saw swatches of the original Deborah Lippman's Glitter In The Air, and once I heard Revlon was coming out with a dupe for it, my heart sang! And now it's finally mine...

It's as pretty in person as it is in photos! Now this is two coats of Whimsical over two coats of China Glaze Kinetic Candy topped with Seche Vite. I haven't tried this polish on it's own, yet, but I am curious to try it soon.

I bought quite a few polishes on Saturday and I will probably post the haul photos tomorrow.

So, is everyone else as obsessed with Whimsical as I am? It's pure blissful magic in a bottle!

Crackled Out? Not yet, I guess...

I know a lot of people are pretty sick of the crackle/shatter trend now, and I am too at times, but I'm still loving it if it's an exciting color combination. I haven't tried this combo before, but I really like it!

This is two coats of Sinful Colors Fusion Neon over one coat of a white polish, and China Glaze Cracked Concrete on top and one coat of Seche Vite topcoat.

Indoors.

Cracked Concrete is not as dark and blue-toned as it looks in the photos. It's much more of a straight, medium to dark-toned gray. It looks like China Glaze Recycle.

And on another note, I ordered Revlon Whimsical on Ulta's website last night. I'm so excited!!! It's finally going to be mine!

So, is anyone else still enjoying their crackle polishes are have they all been pushed to the back of the stash?
